The Gyeonggi Content Agency will host a curated indie game exhibition at POPUP7@Pangyo on the seventh floor of the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center in Pangyo from Monday through June 26.
Titled "PAN:PLAY — Games Finally Take the Stage," the exhibition aims to introduce the public to indie games of exceptional quality and give players a dedicated space to experience them firsthand.
The event draws support from PlayX4, the Greater Seoul area's largest gaming festival co-organized by the Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, as well as IGGK, a nonprofit indie game developer community backed by Google Play.
Visitors can play more than 10 titles, including award winners from the PlayX4 Indie Awards and titles recommended by IGGK, spanning genres from puzzle and adventure to simulation, shooting and rhythm games. A review event will also be held for attendees.
On June 18, during the exhibition run, a companion event — the Global Indie Game Exchange X Meet Up Day seminar — will bring together developers for international networking and discussion.
