Altiero Gwangan, a new residential complex in Minnak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, has launched its apartment subscription process, with special supply applications opening Monday.
The complex will rise on the former Busan MBC site in Minnak-dong, Suyeong-gu, comprising four buildings of up to 27 above-ground floors and 366 units with exclusive use areas ranging from 151 to 191 square meters. All units are large-format floor plans.
Following Monday's special supply, first-priority applications open Tuesday and second-priority on Wednesday. To qualify for first priority, applicants must be at least 19 years old, reside in Busan, Ulsan or South Gyeongsang Province, hold a housing subscription account opened at least six months before the June 5 recruitment announcement date, and meet the required deposit thresholds by area and unit size. Homeowners are also eligible to apply in the first-priority round.
The complex's sales gallery drew roughly 4,000 visitors in the three days after it opened.
Altiero Gwangan is positioned to offer views of Gwangalli Beach, the Suyeong River and Gwangan Bridge. The site backs onto Baeksan to the north while facing the sea to the south, a topography the developers have leveraged through an open-rear design intended to maximize views and a sense of openness.
Residential units feature storage-focused design elements including alpha rooms and pantries, and select international brand kitchen fixtures and finishing materials have been incorporated to strengthen the product's appeal.
Domestic and international firms contributed to the design and landscaping. DnSP handled the architectural design, while global firm Perkins Eastman worked on the facade. PWP is responsible for landscaping, and American lighting design firm bpi will handle lighting. Samsung C&T's resort division is set to carry out the landscaping construction.
A residents-only amenity club, CLUB ALTIERO, will include a golf practice space, fitness facility and squash court, as well as a book lounge, reading room, shared childcare center and senior lounge. An outdoor infinity pool and breakfast and dinner service are also planned to enhance residents' convenience.
The Altiero Gwangan gallery is located in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan.
