Air conditioning, coolant, tires, engine among items checked; service runs through June 26 at 328 locations nationwide
KG Mobility (KGM) announced Sunday it will launch a "Cool Summer Refresh" vehicle inspection service ahead of the summer heat season.
The service runs through June 26 — a two-week period — at 328 service network locations nationwide, including regional service centers in Gunpo and Daejeon. All vehicle models are eligible, with the exception of large commercial vehicles.
The standard inspection covers eight items: air conditioning and heater operation and filters; engine and transmission oil and other fluid leaks and condition; antifreeze; brakes and brake pads; battery; fuel filter; tire wear and air pressure; and washer fluid top-up.
As a gesture of customer appreciation, KGM will offer a 20 percent labor discount on engine oil, air conditioning filter and brake pad replacements for customers who follow the company's KakaoTalk channel. Customers who purchase fuel additives through Autoyoram, KGM's parts brand, will also receive a discount.
Meanwhile, KGM is running its "Electric Vehicle Special Safety Inspection Campaign" this year as well, continuing from last year, to help EV owners drive safely.
The campaign runs free of charge through December at service network locations nationwide and covers all KGM-produced electric vehicle models — including the Musso EV, Torres EVX (van) and Korando EV (e-Motion) — manufactured between March 2022 and January this year.
