Over 500 community members, families attend
Ioniq, Genesis, Nexo among vehicles on show
Hyundai Motor Co held an electric vehicle experience event, "EV'er-land 2026," in partnership with Korea's largest EV community.
The company announced Monday that the event took place Saturday at Belpore Moto Arena in Jeungpyeong-gun, North Chungcheong Province. More than 500 people attended, including 200 members of the EV owners' community "Jeonggichajeonghohoe" selected by lottery, along with their families and friends.
Hyundai Motor organized the event under the theme "A Theme Park for EV Owners," aiming to give customers a chance to experience its full electric vehicle lineup in one place. The venue offered a range of customer-participation programs covering exhibition, hands-on activities and test drives.
The company set up six EV-themed zones showcasing a total of 14 models, spanning the full Hyundai Motor and Genesis electric vehicle lineups.
The Ioniq Zone featured the Ioniq 5, 6 and 9, while the Hyundai EV Zone displayed the Kona Electric and Casper Electric. The Genesis Zone showcased the G80 electrification model, GV70 electrification model, GV60 and GV60 Magma. The N Zone exhibited the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N, and the PBV Zone displayed the ST1, Porter Electric and an ST1-based demand-responsive transit bus. A Hydrogen Zone offered visitors a chance to experience the Nexo hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.
Hands-on programs gave participants a taste of Hyundai's EV technology in action. Attendees used the Ioniq's V2L (Vehicle to Load) function to make cotton candy powered by the car's battery, and listened to the high-performance driving sound of the GV60 Magma. Kart racing and a racing simulator game let visitors experience the driving character of the Hyundai N brand.
A test-drive program let participants get behind the wheel of nine models — including the Ioniq 5, 6 and 9, the Nexo, the Casper Electric and the GV60 — for approximately 30 minutes each.
A taxi driving program also allowed attendees to ride alongside professional instructors in the Ioniq 5 N and Ioniq 6 N, giving them a feel for the dynamic performance of Hyundai's high-performance electric vehicles.
"This event was a forum for candid conversation with customers who are interested in electric vehicles, regardless of what they currently drive," a Hyundai Motor official said. "We will continue to create opportunities for EV community members and a wide range of customers to experience Hyundai Motor's electrification technology firsthand."
