The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced its implementation plan for the second round of the 2026 high school equivalency exam Wednesday morning, posting the notice on its official website at 10 a.m.
Applications for the exam will be accepted both in person and online.
In-person registration runs from June 22 to June 26, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the first below-ground floor of the education office's main building. Online applications are available through the NEIS equivalency exam service through June 25.
Applicants must submit a government-issued ID, a completed application form (available on-site), two passport-size photos and official documentation of their highest level of education completed.
Exam venues will be announced July 31, with the exam itself scheduled for Aug. 11.
Results will be posted on the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education's website at 10 a.m. on Aug. 28.
