Taeyoung E&C said its Metro City Jasan Desiang residential complex in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, has moved into alternate-winner contracts following the completion of its primary contract period.
According to pre-sale industry sources, alternate-winner contracts for the complex began June 8, targeting households found ineligible during the primary contract phase.
The complex comprises 1,250 units in total, and the number of remaining units has fallen to a small fraction following the alternate-winner contract process.
The pre-sale process for Metro City Jasan Desiang included a special supply round and first-priority apartment subscriptions, followed by the primary contract period and the current alternate-winner contract stage.
"The number of remaining units has been shrinking as alternate-winner contracts proceed," a pre-sale official said. "Inquiries about contracts are also continuing."
The complex offers units with exclusive use areas of 59, 72 and 84 square meters. Financial terms include a 5 percent down payment and interest-free installment payments. As the project is located in an unregulated zone, resale restrictions do not apply.
Muhak Elementary School sits near the complex, and residents will have access to Muhaksan and Chusan Neighborhood Park. Some units offer views of Masan Port. The complex also plans 14 community facilities, including a movie theater and sauna.
Meanwhile, Taeyoung E&C has previously developed housing in the Changwon-Masan area under the Uni City, Metro City 1 and 2, and Metro City Seokjeon brands. The company has recently been expanding its project portfolio, with a focus on public construction, urban renewal and social overhead capital projects.
