STK 2026, the 15th edition of Smart Tech Korea, opened Wednesday at Coex in Seoul.
Running under the theme "The Tech Nexus," the three-day event showcases technology and industry trends across AI, robotics, smart manufacturing, security, digital retail and logistics, quantum technology, digital healthcare and extended reality. A total of 620 companies from 16 countries — including Canada's Quebec, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, Singapore and Saudi Arabia — are participating, operating 1,800 booths across the venue.
The exhibition spans the first and third floors of Coex. The first floor focuses on corporate innovation driven by AI transformation, while the third floor highlights industrial automation using AI and robotics.
Seven specialized exhibitions run concurrently: the AI & Big Data Show, Smart Tech Show, SecuTech Show, RoboTech Show, Digital Retail & Logistics Expo, AI+ Smart Factory Show and Korea Extended Reality Industry Expo.
In the AI segment, Dell Technologies, NVIDIA, Microsoft, ElevenLabs, Similarweb, Samsung SDS, BIMatrix and Obzen are among the participants presenting generative AI applications, data utilization strategies and AI infrastructure case studies.
The robotics segment features global firms AGIBOT, GALBOT, EngineAI and Paxini alongside domestic companies, showcasing humanoid robot and industrial robot technology. On the quantum technology side, AWS, Korea Quantum Computing, Norma and ID Quantique are presenting advances in quantum security and quantum computing.
An official conference, TechCon, will run alongside the exhibition, bringing together AI researchers and industry experts to share insights on the direction of AI development and real-world applications.
A hands-on showcase called Smart Daily Life will also offer visitors interactive experiences with smart home systems, digital healthcare, future mobility and care services.
STK 2026 runs through Friday at Coex in Seoul.
