Products praised for 'delicious protein' as judges recognize balanced nutrition and taste
Jeong Sik Food announced Wednesday that products from its Vegemil and Greenbiya brands have won the Superior Taste Award at the 2026 International Taste Institute (ITI) competition.
The four winning products are Vegemil High-Protein Soy Milk Plain, Vegemil Daily Low-Sugar Soy Milk, Greenbiya Nutrition Care Savory Flavor and Greenbiya Sugar Care Walnut Flavor (pictured).
Vegemil High-Protein Soy Milk Plain contains no added sugar and highlights the naturally nutty, clean flavor of soybeans. Each pack delivers 12 grams of plant-based protein, essential amino acids — including branched-chain amino acids — and B vitamins. Cumulative sales surpassed 7.6 million units within 11 months of launch. Vegemil Daily Low-Sugar Soy Milk is made with 99.6 percent pure soy milk and leaves no bitter aftertaste. Each pack contains 9 grams of plant-based protein and 200 milligrams of calcium.
Greenbiya Nutrition Care Savory Flavor is a plant-based balanced nutrition drink containing soy dietary fiber and soy isoflavones. Each 200-milliliter pack provides the three macronutrients along with 26 types of vitamins and minerals. Greenbiya Sugar Care Walnut Flavor targets consumers managing diabetes or high blood sugar, with a low-sugar, high-fiber and low-sodium formulation.
"We will continue to meet the expectations of consumers who pursue a healthy lifestyle, drawing on our accumulated technology and expertise," a company official said.
