The Daegu City Happiness Foundation announced Wednesday that Wageuljwagleul Aisesang, a children's multipurpose cultural center it operates under a mandate from the city in Sukcheon-dong, Dong-gu, will hold a humanities concert at the venue's Dugeundugeun small theater on June 20 at 2 p.m.
The center, which opened July 29 last year, is targeting an audience of 50 — elementary school students, their parents and local residents — for an in-depth exploration of history.
The concert will feature historian Kim Jae-won speaking on the theme "Why we must study history."
A question-and-answer session will follow the lecture, giving attendees a chance to exchange views freely with the speaker.
Admission is free, and seats are limited to 50 on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is available through a QR code on the event poster, which links to a Naver form.
Further details are available on the Wageuljwagleul Aisesang website.
