LG CNS to support AI transformation across all LG Group affiliates

LG CNS has partnered with Anthropic to accelerate AI transformation across LG Group, deploying the Claude AI model as the foundation of that effort.

LG CNS announced Monday that it had signed a "Claude Enterprise" adoption agreement with Anthropic. The deal is structured as a group-wide contract applicable to all LG Group affiliates, and LG CNS said it plans to use the agreement as a springboard to speed up AI transformation across the conglomerate.

Claude is an enterprise AI model that has been gaining ground in global markets on the strength of its advanced reasoning capabilities, robust security and ability to handle lengthy documents. It supports corporate AI transformation through features focused on workplace efficiency — including AI agent development integrated with internal systems, coding assistance and collaboration tools.

Under the agreement, LG CNS plans to open Claude access to all of its employees and pursue AI-driven productivity gains across its operations, including software development. The company also intends to expand its AI transformation business by supporting both LG Group affiliates and external clients through the full cycle of Claude adoption and deployment.

This is not the first time the two companies have worked together. LG CNS made an equity investment in Anthropic through LG Technology Ventures in 2023 and has continued the partnership by offering Claude in a form optimized for domestic corporate customers. LG CNS said it plans to deepen collaboration with Anthropic to further refine AI transformation services tailored to enterprise environments.

LG CNS also said it is building a customized AI framework by deploying a range of generative AI tools internally. The company has introduced a multi-AI system that lets employees choose from several AI models — including Claude and ChatEXAONE from LG AI Research — depending on their work needs and operating environment. Alongside this, LG CNS said it draws on its experience managing diverse AI models and its industry expertise to advise corporate customers on how to put AI to work.

"Our partnership with Anthropic marks an important milestone in formalizing an AI transformation model optimized for the domestic corporate environment," said Kim Tae-hoon, head of LG CNS's AI Cloud Business Division. "We will combine LG CNS's AI transformation capabilities with Anthropic's AI technology to support innovation for our corporate customers in Korea."

Choi Ki-young, Anthropic's Korea representative, said the collaboration would help domestic corporate customers apply safe and trustworthy AI to real work environments. "We will work together to establish Claude as an AI platform that drives productivity and workplace innovation for businesses," he said.
