The 'Amazon Accelerator Program' targets early-stage brands entering the US market
Twenty companies with no Amazon sales experience selected for end-to-end support — from Amazon onboarding to sales and marketing execution
The Seoul Business Agency (SBA), a small and medium-sized enterprise support organization under the Seoul Metropolitan Government, is partnering with Amazon Global Selling Korea to help domestic beauty companies break into the US market.
SBA, led by CEO Kim Hyun-woo, announced it is accepting applications through June 28 for the "2026 Amazon Accelerator Program," organized by Amazon Global Selling Korea.
The program is a global market entry initiative designed to provide comprehensive support — from Amazon onboarding through sales and marketing execution — to domestic brands with limited US market experience. Its defining feature is an integrated education and marketing approach that goes beyond simple platform onboarding, helping companies validate their product competitiveness and market viability and translate that into actual sales results.
Up to 20 companies will be selected. Eligible applicants are businesses in the beauty and health supplement sectors, with priority given to brands in categories showing strong US growth potential, including skincare, makeup, beauty devices and ingestible beauty products.
Bonus points will be awarded to brands with differentiated strengths in texture, packaging, ingredients or technology, as well as to companies that already hold English-language labeling compliant with US cosmetics regulations (MoCRA).
Selected companies will receive access to Amazon's official education curriculum and a meetup program for business networking, followed by linked support through the sales and marketing execution phase.
Companies that advance to the sales and marketing execution stage will receive Amazon advertising and marketing support to help build brand awareness in the US market and establish a foundation for sales.
In addition, the three companies named as top finalists will receive follow-on growth programs, including influencer-linked marketing campaigns and one-on-one consulting with an Amazon manager.
The program runs in eight sequential stages: company recruitment, selection evaluation, sales preparation, sales and marketing execution, interim evaluation, pitching preparation, final evaluation and follow-up support.
Participating companies will go through education, marketing and sales operations to have their product competitiveness and market viability validated in the US market. An interim evaluation will narrow the field to seven companies, after which a final IR-style pitching evaluation will determine the three top finalists.
The entire program will be produced as official Amazon YouTube content, giving participating brands a promotional platform to introduce their growth journey and brand story to global consumers.
SBA and Amazon will also host an online seminar on June 17 to provide program information and answer questions. Registration is available through Amazon's official website.
"This program is a market-entry support initiative designed to identify promising brands that have not yet entered the US market and connect them all the way through to actual sales and brand growth," SBA CEO Kim Hyun-woo said. "Through our partnership with Amazon, we will actively support domestic brands in establishing themselves quickly in the global market and building a foundation for sustainable growth."
