Centre Pompidou Hanwha in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, is hosting its inaugural exhibition, "Cubists: Visionaries of Vision," through Oct. 4.

The exhibition is the first project presented under the partnership between the Hanwha Cultural Foundation and the Centre Pompidou, tracing the formation and development of Cubism across roughly two decades, from 1907 to 1927.

The show features 91 works from the Centre Pompidou's collection, including pieces by Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and Juan Gris, examining how Cubism reshaped the course of modern art. A special section devoted to Korean modern and contemporary art explores the influence Paris had on the Korean art world and how the avant-garde movements that followed Cubism were received in Korea.
