'Navien Sleep Mat Four Seasons' released in Pro and Air models
Kyung Dong Navien has unveiled a cooling water mat designed to maintain water temperature at 20 degrees Celsius even on tropical nights, helping users sleep better.
The product, recently launched under the name "Navien Sleep Mat Four Seasons," comes in two versions: Pro and Air.
The Pro model features a "Cool Mode" that draws air-conditioned indoor air through a fan in the sleep hub, using it to cool circulating water to a minimum of 20 C — with an actual operating temperature of around 22 C. The company says the mat holds that temperature even when outdoor temperatures reach 30 C on tropical nights.
The Air model applies Peltier semiconductor cooling technology to lower the temperature of water passing through the sleep hub independently. It can cool water to a minimum of 25 C, with an actual operating temperature of around 27 C.
Both models also offer a "Warm Mode," which circulates water heated by a heater inside the sleep hub to provide warming of up to 35 C.
The 2026 lineup features enhanced temperature control to help users tailor their sleep environment to personal comfort. The Pro model's left-right split temperature control has been upgraded to allow precise 0.5-degree adjustments on each side in both Cool Mode and Warm Mode.
The Pro EMF520 model adds a Bluetooth remote for greater convenience. Kyung Dong Navien said both models come with a reversible cover — one side for cooling, one for warmth — so users can choose based on the season.
"The new products support an 'AI Sleep Mode,' developed jointly with sleep-tech company Asleep, in which AI automatically adjusts the mat's temperature through the Navien smart app," the company said. In Cool Mode, the AI raises the temperature when the user enters deep sleep; in Warm Mode, it lowers the temperature during REM sleep to help maintain an appropriate body temperature throughout the night.
