Broadcaster Noh Hong-chul has opened up about suffering significant losses in stocks and cryptocurrency.

The SBS variety program "Beopryun Road: The Monk and His Guests," which aired Monday, followed Venerable Beopryun and a group of celebrity guests — Noh Hong-chul, Lee Sang-yoon, Lee Ju-bin and Lee Gi-taek — on a pilgrimage through India tracing the path of the Buddha's ascetic journey.

Noh sat down for a one-on-one conversation with Venerable Beopryun and shared his concerns about marriage. "I don't have much interest in dating or getting married, but my parents keep pressuring me," he said. "I can't stop thinking about them."

Venerable Beopryun replied, "Whether you marry or not is entirely your choice. But the reason you waver isn't just your parents' wishes — it's because, deep down, you have that desire yourself."

Noh also raised a more lighthearted dilemma. "I've been investing in stocks and crypto, but they've dropped a lot," he said. "A big chunk of my assets... should I sell or not?"

Venerable Beopryun replied, "Only you would know that," and later laughed in a separate interview with the production crew, saying, "Hong-chul doesn't seem to have any real worries."
