Singer Solbi, who has held solo art exhibitions for 14 years and built an active career as a painter, is set to make a solo music comeback.

Solbi will release a solo track and begin promotional activities in mid-June, according to News1.

The release marks her first musical activity in roughly a year, following her comeback with "Typhoon" in July last year. Having delivered a refreshing summer song with that track, she plans to return with another breezy summer tune suited to the heat of the season.

The new song features production by singer Gunjo, who crafted an upbeat track that showcases Solbi's crisp high notes.

Meanwhile, Solbi also pursues a painting career under her real name, Kwon Ji-an. In addition to overseas invitational exhibitions in Paris and New Jersey, she recently held a solo show titled "Humming Letter" in Portugal. She has also remained prolific at home, opening a solo exhibition titled "Humming Road" earlier this year to present new works.

She has also branched out into drama writing, having released a web drama series she scripted titled "My Ex Is a Top Star."
