Wet section spans 32m, dry section 52m — open to residents from May 4

The path stretches 168 meters round-trip — 84 meters one way — and is divided into two sections: a 64-meter wet loess track (32 meters one way) and a 104-meter dry loess track (52 meters one way). The dual-surface design allows visitors to choose the walking experience that suits them best.

"We focused on maximizing the texture and functional benefits of loess to meet the growing demand for barefoot walking," a district official said.

The wet section is equipped with 12 floor-mounted cooling fog misters to keep the loess consistently moist. A canopy shields the surface from soil, fallen leaves and rainwater to reduce maintenance, while handrails along the section help prevent accidents.

The dry section, by contrast, preserves the natural texture of loess in its unaltered state.

The district expects the path to become a space where residents can experience nature in the heart of the city.
