오디오·음원 스트리밍 플랫폼 ‘스포티파이(Spotify)’가 힙합 장르의 탄생 50주년을 기념해 역대 가장 위대한 힙합 비트 리스트를 발표했다.

스포티파이는 힙합 50주년 기념 캠페인의 일환으로 역사상 가장 위대한 힙합 비트 50선을 담은 ‘Greatest Hip-Hop Beats of All Time’ 플레이리스트를 선보였으며, 이를 스포티파이 대표 글로벌 힙합 플레이리스트 ‘랩캐비아(RapCaviar)’의 공식 인스타그램 및 트위터 채널을 통해 공유했다.

이에 따르면, 닥터 드레(Dr. Dre)와 스눕 독(Snoop Dogg)의 “Still D.R.E.”가 역대 가장 위대한 힙합 비트 1위를 차지했으며, 맙 딥(Mobb Deep)의 “Shook Ones, Pt. II”, 클립스(Clipse)의 “Grindin'”, 노토리어스 비아이지(The Notorious B.I.G.)의 “Who Shot Ya?”, 릴 웨인(Lil Wayne)의 “A Milli”가 뒤를 이었다.

이어 5위부터 10위에는 카니예 웨스트(Kanye West)의 “POWER”, 디디(Diddy), 노토리어스 비아이지(The Notorious B.I.G.), 릴 킴(Lil' Kim), 더 록스(The LOX), 스티비 제이(Stevie J)가 함께한 “It’s All About the Benjamins - Remix”, 마이크 존스(Mike Jones), 폴 월(Paul Wall), 슬림 써그(Slim Thug)의 “Still Tippin'”, 트래비스 스콧(Travis Scott)의 “SICKO MODE”, 미시 엘리엇(Missy Elliott)의 “Get Ur Freak On”이 선정됐다.
