U.S. officials believe that the North Korea was behind the computer hacking attack on Sony Pictures Entertainment.
The attack came before the scheduled release of a comedy flick, “The Interview,” starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, depicting a fictionalized assassination attempt on North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.
Sony suspended the release of the movie slated for Christmas Day.
The U.S. government said the hacking originated outside North Korea, but they believe the individuals were acting on orders from the North Koreans. ”We have found linkage to the North Korean government.”
